Chase Collegiate School Offers Online Summer Enrichment Programs

June 26, 2020

Chase Collegiate School will be offering online summer studies and enrichment programs starting July 6 that will run until August 7. Students have adapted and excelled while distance learning over these past few months, so it was an easy decision for the school to keep the momentum of engagement going over the summer and invite a broader audience. This extension of the college preparatory program will create a welcoming environment where students and faculty are surrounded by like-minded individuals who support a well-rounded experience. These online courses will be offered to both Chase and non-Chase students rising grades 8 through 12. Some of the programs that will be offered include Writing the College Application Essay, Songwriting, and The Emergence of Hope; courses not found in our current course catalog. Chase is using the summer to extend exploration, innovation, and encourage curiosity through their curriculum where students can learn to grow.

Director of the Upper School, Ernie Beaulieu, and Head of Lower/Middle School, Dierdre McGuire, are both very excited about Chase Collegiate offering these enrichment programs this summer. “These classes are designed to help students build skills and think critically,” said Beaulieu. “The goal of these courses ties in with Chase's mission to stretch students to reach their intellectual, ethical, creative and social potentials. As well as be strong members of their communities through active citizenship.” McGuire also stated, “Our summer courses aim to inspire students with subjects they are passionate about. Chase offers the chance to prepare the mind while it carries on the tradition of educating students for a lifetime of learning.”

Classes will be taught by experienced Chase Collegiate staff.  All programs have morning, afternoon, and daily sessions available, and are guaranteed a small class size. Fees are required for non-Chase students, but there is no cost to current Chase students, family members of students, or those who have completed and submitted their application for the 2020-2021 school year. All programs are only available online.
